Bhal!!!

That was supposed to say “BLAH” but I suck at typing and now I can’t change it because I typed this sentence, and that was a lot of work.

So…I haven’t updated this in awhile.  And on top of that, reading through my posts, everything’s super serious.  Which is ironic and dumb because I’m not that…

Maybe this has just been my serious outlet.  I dunno.  Anyway, just checking in to say that I really would like to start blogging more.  As sooooooon as I’m done with this 30 page research paper.  BHAL!

[It’s corny to caption beautiful art, so I apologize.  Admire this for all its worth.]I feel like I see men and women interacting like this all around me.  And it makes me want to draw my sword and go slay some crap.  And by “crap” I mean the “men.”

You can easily judge the character of a man by how he treats those who can do nothing for him.

Hail the heav’n-born Prince of Peace!

Hail the Son of Righteousness!

Light and life to all He brings

Ris’n with healing in His wings

Mild He lays His glory by

Born that man no more may die

Born to raise the sons of earth

Born to give them second birth

Hark! The herald angels sing

“Glory to the newborn King!”

…the tendency to make religious truths the subjects of intellectual study rather than a work of conscience and of heart-acceptance, the disposition resulting therefrom, not always to place the moral conduct under the influence of religious conviction, and to give scope to the latter rather in oratorical discourse than in vigour of holiness, —these are defects which more than one modern nation shares in common with the Greek people.

Beliefs at their best are an unbaked clay sculpture: beautifully thought-out and wholly-defined, yet able to be re-crafted as we discover new things about the world, ourselves, and our Maker.

Love is not altogether blind. It’s very nearsighted.

You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.

I am the Way—follow Me and take My hand. I am the truth—embrace Me and you’ll understand. I am the Life, and through Me you’ll live again. For I am love. I am love. I am love.
